On your marks, get set, go.....

Yes its June and that means. . . . .

Yes in the post last week my '30 Days Wild' pack arrived.

I really wanted to encourage my little boy away from technology at least once every day to do something wild!!

Today has been particularly wet so I wasn't sure what to do.

We opted for an easy start.

We put out some of our normal bird food, then had a 10 minute bird watch, noting down all we spotted.

We are planning to repeat the 10 minute bird watch on a sunny day to see the difference.

We spotted  -  crows, magpies, seaguls, bluetits and a common tern.

  1. Hi

Thank you for your comment - I'm glad you enjoyed my blog post and am very glad it helped a bit - that's why I wrote it so I'm pleased someone found it useful! I'll be blogging every day (in theory) so hopefully everyone doing 30 Days Wild will inspire each other throughout the month!

You had a lovely start to 30 Days Wild and it'll be interesting to see if you get different birdy visitors on a sunny day.

    1. I think it's a great idea for families. They don't need to be big wild things some can take just a few minutes!!

  3. Sounds great, I keep having to refer to a bird book as I don't know the names of some of our visitors of late.
