Ooh I do like to be beside the seaside . . . . .

We've been on holiday, yippee!!

And

Ooh what a week!!

Our base for the week was the Isle of Whithorn in southwest Scotland.

Almost as soon as the car was unloaded, we headed for the sea.

On our first full day, Sunday, we headed for Saint Ninians Cave.

My Mum and Dad (and the dog) where staying nearby for a few days so they joined us.

The woodland is still covered in wild garlic.

And as you reach the end of the woodland, in the distance you can see the sea!! 

 

We had a look in the cave (sorry no photo), then we had a look in the rock pools.

I've got to say, don't try rock pooling with a hot dog!!

Every time you point at something, the dog arrives and sits down.
