Just another week.

A week of procrastination.

This week I planned to start a sewing project.

This week I planned to sort out the greenhouse.

This week I planned to sort through lots of family junk.

This week I planned lots of long walks with Penny.

But all I've done is put things off,

Accomplishing very little.

So today I cheated slightly, I jumped in the car and headed out for some fresh air and glorious views.

Penny enjoyed the walk and all the stuff I need to do is still waiting for me at home.

Forecast for today - Sunny

So today's weather forecast for the Ribble Valley said 'Sunny'

I planned a 5 mile walk with Penny.

Organised someone to pick us up 'in case of emergency'

Picked my route to give spectacular views . . . . .

But all we got was mist/fog, mile after mile.

We didn't see another person for the whole route.

Penny kept looking over her shoulder, spooking me out, thinking there was someone (or something spooky) following us.

Maybe we'll try again another day . . .

Just a quick look back to the other week, when I did some of the same route.

That view is worth the 2.5 mile uphill walk
(or a quick drive up in the car)

New Year - New Attitude

Happy New Year
(I know I'm a bit late.....)

Today the children headed back to school and the house fell silent.

The start of the year.....

Long cold weeks ahead, health issues for my Son and GCSEs for my Daughter.

Definitely need some positive mental attitude.

Penny's very positive.

She's positive she looks great really close up!!

So this morning we had a good long walk, leaving behind all the house work!

This afternoon, whilst Penny sleeps away the afternoon, I will be ploughing my way through the ironing mountain.

If you see me out and about, I'm the one with the dog running wild, whilst the dogs lead is tied round my leg, leaving my hands free to quickly take a snap!!
