Day 26
We live on a very quiet close, no through traffic and pretty considerate neighbours.
But still I struggle to get the kids to play out (hence 30 days wild, to encourage my son)
Today we got out the pavement chalks.
This activity some times spreads all the way down the road, but today we just had a small sample of street art.
Any time outside is better than nothing!
What a really good idea, that would be a fun activity for when my Grandchildren visit.
ReplyDeleteYou can get super thick chalks, so they don't snap too easily. Great for 'kids' of all ages!! Sarah
DeleteThis is one activity I remember doing with my kids in the back garden, the other on a hot day was water and a large paint brush, they had to paint a picture before the sun dried it out..

There always seems to be lots to do on a sunny day and other than collecting up the chalks, I don't have to clear away. I'm sure my neighbours are pleased that one quick shower and it's all clean again. Sarah
DeleteCool street art. I can remember pathing stones covered in this sort of stuff as a child. You don't see it that much nowadays.
ReplyDeleteThere are only my kids and three others on our whole street, so my kids often cover most of the road. They especially like doing it when they have friends coming round!! Sarah
