What to do in oxford?

Having a few days in oxford, just planning what to do!

Ssssh, don't tell Penny but she's going on a mini break.

We're all sure she'll enjoy herself but we're not going with her!!!

Here's hoping my Mum and Dad enjoy early starts and don't mind missing the dialogue of there favourite TV programmes.

The washing pile was huge and the weather was WET. So the electricity meter was spinning all day as the dryer was on constantly. Now I just need to iron......

I also managed to blog on my iPad which means the work laptop can go away. Testing my technical skills, I've now set up my phone to receive work emails. 

But the most satisfying job of the day was some guerrilla gardening. When there was a break in the rain, me & my son cleared the weeds on the road outside our house then did the same outside my two neighbours.

On the first Saturday of the month we join the ranger at the local country park for Junior Rangers. Today was flora and fauna.

      

Penny didn't like all the standing about looking through books, so we left the group and had a little walk.

We stopped for a chat with some fellow dog walkers and just along the path a deer emerged from the woods, crossed the path and disappeared!!

So Friday turned out to be a work/walk day.

In between walking the dog and waiting for emails I did manage to arrange my new light in the kitchen!!

Although by the end of the day I was too tired (and forgetful) to check if they'd come on, maybe tonight I'll remember.
